Chief, Market Sectors Group, ENERGY STAR Commercial Buildings, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
Mr. Zatz oversees the development and implementation of activities aimed at improving the energy efficiency of a wide variety of building types, including offices, K-12 schools, higher education institutions, healthcare facilities, retail space, hotels, data centers, congregations, and others. Mr. Zatz is also responsible for oversight of ENERGY STAR's Portfolio Manager energy benchmarking tool, including a current effort to develop an ENERGY STAR rating for data center infrastructure. Portfolio Manager is currently used by over 70,000 buildings across the country to assess and track their energy use.
Sara Neff
Senior Vice President Sustainability, Kilroy Realty Corporation
Sara Neff is the Vice President of Sustainability for Kilroy Realty Corporation. In that capacity, she oversees all sustainability initiatives at KRC such as the implementation of energy and water efficiency projects throughout the portfolio, the recycling and green cleaning program, all LEED certifications for the 3.5 million square foot development pipeline, all renewables projects, electric vehicle charging station installations, and the greening of building and construction standards.
Barry Hooper
Green Building Coordinator @ SF Environment, City of San Francisco
Barry Hooper is Green Building Coordinator at SF Environment, where he manages implementation of the city’s building performance labeling and energy audit requirements for commercial buildings. He is the department lead for San Francisco's Green Building Code for new construction and provides technical support to the Department of Building Inspection. Barry Hooper has previously worked as Green Building and Energy Coordinator at the City of San Jose and served as Energy Commissioner for the County of Santa Cruz.
